JOB OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a sharp, creative Short-Form Video Creator & Editor to join our marketing team. Your responsibility includes knowing how to stop the scroll, lead with a hook, and deliver a story that makes people feel something —whether it’s curiosity, excitement, or “where do I buy that?”
This role is all about telling stories in short bursts. From product highlights to repurposing UGC and building from scratch, you’ll play a key part in bringing our brands to life on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceptualize, and edit short-form video content for social (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
Lead with engaging hooks and ensure each video tells a clear, intentional story.
Highlight product features creatively and clearly — never just “look at this thing.”
Repurpose content (UGC, B-roll, testimonials, static images) into thumb-stopping edits.
Follow and research current trends in editing styles, audio, memes, and storytelling formats.
Collaborate with our internal team for feedback, planning, and brainstorms.
Keep an organized workflow: video assets, content calendars, delivery dates.
Use platform insights and performance data to improve content in future edits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skill in short-form video creation, editing, or content marketing.
Familiar with editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong grasp of hook-first storytelling and short-form pacing.
Understanding of social platform algorithms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
Comfortable working solo on edits, from concept to delivery.
Excellent eye for motion, timing, and how to communicate visually.
Strong sense of what performs well, why it performs, and how to replicate it.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with UGC or influencer-sourced content.
Experience editing with CapCut or mobile-native tools.
Strong creative instincts for visual humor, emotional storytelling, or visual ASMR.
A portfolio of short-form content made for DTC brands, ideally with performance stats.
Experience creating content for different regional or cultural audiences (US preferred).
